Guar Split is a processed form of the endosperm obtained from the seeds of the Cyamopsis tetragonoloba plant, belonging to the Fabaceae family. It serves as the raw material for producing guar gum and other guar-based derivatives. The splits are produced by removing the husk and germ from guar seeds, resulting in whitish to off-white endosperm pieces known as “guar splits.” Rich in galactomannan, a natural polysaccharide, Guar Split is valued for its thickening, stabilizing, and emulsifying properties. It is extensively used in food, textile, paper, and oil drilling industries for its high viscosity and water-binding capacity.
